2.5: this is the decline in the activity of small business in 2009. The health professions: 1.5They are the ones which perform best. After a slack year ( 0.8), pharmacists and opticians-private realize the highest increase of activity in 2009. However, even if the turnover of the sector remains largely positive ( 1.5), margins tend to decrease in the two professions.
Cafés-hotel-restaurant: 0It is the bad "surprise" of the investigation. Despite the decrease in VAT, claimed to body and cries by restaurateurs, the sector is unable to recover. Growth zero in 2009 for the CHR sector! Only professionals combining food and hospitality show activity on the rise: 0.8. Pure restaurant (0.2) and cafés (-1.1) record negative scores.
Food retail: 0.4More encouraging outcome on the other hand for food artisans who resist rather well to the crisis. Bakers (0.3), Baker (0.2), butchers (-0.8), type (0.1), convenience of proximity (0.5) and shops of fruits and vegetables (-3) are all facing a decline in sales, but it remains globally rather moderate (except for the primeurs). Crisis force, consumers seem to want to turn to more nearby.
The trades of beauty and aesthetics:-1.2Facing a drop in their purchasing power, the French cut in spending seen as superfluous. This is the case of the aesthetic beauty. Spacing of visits and reduction in the average ticket in hair salons (-1.4), development of low-cost and competition concepts large signs at the institutes of beauty ( 0.9) lead the profession to record a decline of 1.2 of its activity.
The equipment of the person: 2.1Second item often reduced, the equipment of the person is therefore also logically affected with a decline of 2.1 of its turnover. Watchmakers-jewellers (-3.5) and ready-to-wear stores (3) record the strongest declines of activity.
The equipment of the House:-2.9The fall is even tougher in the sector of equipment of the House:-2.9. The most affected Small appliance stores:-4 (compared with 2.4 in 2008)! Even the florists do not see life in rose with a decrease of-2.7.
Building:-3,7A symbol: the collapse of the building. 2009 was a year black for the sector, which the turnover is charged an average decline of 3.7. All trades are in red, with the exception of the plumbing that displays a timid 0.7. Masonry is a spectacular diving activity (8.7) and electricity (3.9) and coverage (-3.5).
Car repair: 5.1It is the reverse of the Medal of the differential case.
